I had to create a new account on my computer and when i tried to transfer my old bookmarks over it wouldn't work. The import function did nothing when I opened the old bookmarks file same with the backup, then I changed it to an HTML to see if that would work. It didn't work, and finally i tried copying the old bookmarks file, along with the backup, both together and separately and it still didn't work. Any more ideas? Instead of importing HTML bookmarks is there any file type that it accepts? Because I have the old bookmarks file from my previous use of Google Chrome, but it won't import it. Q. In Google Chrome Bookmarks, ALL the main folders AND sub-folders are listed when you open the Bookmark Manger. If you have a very large number of main folders and sub-folders, this arrangement makes it very cumbersome and time-consuming to find a particular sub-folder. Is there a way to revise how the Bookmarks display in the Bookmarks Manager so only the MAIN folder headings are displayed? Then, if you want to find a particular sub-folder, you first click on the main folder it would be in. Thanks.
